A degu exercise ball is a small, transparent plastic ball that is used to allow degus, small rodents native to Chile, to exercise and explore their environment. The degu is placed inside the ball, and as it moves around, it can roll and explore its surroundings without the risk of escaping or getting lost. This allows degus to get the exercise and mental stimulation they need in a safe and controlled environment. **

I got my Degu exercise wheels from a pet store that specializes in small animal supplies. I made sure to choose a wheel that is specifically designed for Degus, as they have specific needs and requirements for their exercise equipment. It's important to provide them with a safe and appropriate wheel to ensure they can get the exercise they need to stay healthy and happy. **

Degu snacks are treats specifically made for degus, which are small rodents native to Chile. These snacks are usually made from natural ingredients such as dried fruits, seeds, and nuts, and are designed to provide essential nutrients and enrichment for degus. Degu snacks can be given as occasional treats to supplement their regular diet and to promote their overall health and well-being. **

The degu can be poisoned by a variety of substances including pesticides, herbicides, household chemicals, and certain plants. Additionally, some foods that are toxic to other animals, such as chocolate and avocado, can also be harmful to degus. It is important to keep these substances out of reach of degus and to be mindful of their environment to prevent accidental poisoning. Regularly monitoring their living space and providing a safe and appropriate diet can help prevent poisoning in degus. **

Degu treats are special snacks or food items that are given to Degus as a reward or for enrichment. These treats are usually high in fiber and low in sugar to ensure they are healthy for Degus. Some common Degu treats include dried fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and specially formulated Degu treats available in pet stores. It is important to give treats in moderation to prevent obesity and other health issues in Degus. **

Without more information, it is difficult to determine if the degu is too fat. It is important to monitor their weight and body condition regularly to ensure they are at a healthy weight. If the degu is overweight, it can lead to health issues such as diabetes and heart problems. Consulting with a veterinarian for guidance on proper diet and exercise for the degu is recommended. **

Yes, degus can get mites. Mites are tiny parasites that can infest a degu's fur and skin, causing itching, hair loss, and skin irritation. It is important to regularly check your degu for any signs of mites and consult a veterinarian if you suspect an infestation. Treatment typically involves medication prescribed by a vet to eliminate the mites. **

Yes, degus are social animals and typically sleep together in groups. They are known to huddle together for warmth and comfort while sleeping. In captivity, it is recommended to keep degus in pairs or small groups to ensure their social needs are met. Sleeping alone may cause stress and loneliness in degus. **
